A Science-First Community Evening
Marco Island, Florida

Real answers about Marco Island's canal water quality start here.

Free science event on Marco Island — get the real story on your canals, straight from the scientists studying them.

Marco Island's canals have been on Florida's impaired waters list since 2019, and residents have been asking why for just as long. Now, independent scientists studying Marco's canals directly have real answers.

Join C-HAWQ for a science-first evening. You'll hear exactly what the data shows: where the nitrogen is actually coming from, and what can realistically be done about it.

C-HAWQ is a nonprofit and doesn't advocate for any single fix. We provide the independent research that helps municipalities make the best decisions for their communities.
